Public archive technicians assist users in accessing archive resources and describing new acquisitions, participate in archive processing and storage and conduct reference searches.

3 - Sitting, standing, walking

This level involves work activities in combinations and varying degrees of Sitting (1) and Standing and/or walking (2).

  • ensuring that systems and equipment are operating efficiently on job sites

  • operating woodworking machines
  • cleaning chimneys
  • removing poultry feathers
